Aroma-Zone Theine & Hyaluronic Acid Eye Contour Cream
French natural skincare brand Aroma-Zone has launched its Eye Contour Cream Theine and Hyaluronic Acid, a treatment formulated to target dark circles, puffiness, fine lines and dehydration around the eye area.
The cream is built around six natural actives. Theine, the caffeine compound found in tea, works as a decongestant to reduce under-eye bags by stimulating local microcirculation, while hyaluronic acid provides hydration and plumps dehydration lines. Natural polysaccharides form a film on the skin's surface that delivers an immediate tightening effect. Liquorice extract soothes inflammation and supports cell regeneration, and wild ginger extract addresses both vascular dark circles, caused by slowed microcirculation, and pigmented dark circles resulting from excess melanin, by regulating melanogenesis and protecting the extracellular matrix from oxidative stress. Helichrysum extract, rich in chlorogenic acid, strengthens microvessels and limits the excessive vasodilation responsible for fluid accumulation in the tissue.
The formula is Cosmos Organic certified, made in France and contains 99 per cent ingredients of natural origin, according to the on-pack labelling.
In a satisfaction test on 47 volunteers, all participants reported an immediate tightening effect on application, and 94 per cent reported a reduction in wrinkles and fine lines after 28 days. Instrumental testing on a smaller panel of nine measured a 79 per cent increase in hydration lasting up to 24 hours and a 42 per cent increase in radiance in the eye area after one application.
At £7.50 the cream undercuts most professional and prestige eye treatments by a wide margin, consistent with the accessible pricing model that has driven Aroma-Zone's growth in France. The brand entered the UK in November 2025 with its first British store at Westfield London, a two-floor flagship combining more than 500 finished products, raw actives and an education space staffed by trained naturopaths. PBL covered the opening and interviewed chief executive Sabrina Herlory Rouget at the launch.
Founded in 1999 by sisters Anne-Cécile and Valérie Vausselin, Aroma-Zone built its reputation in France on DIY formulation ingredients before expanding into ready-to-use skincare, haircare, supplements and essential oils. The company positions transparency, education and responsible sourcing at the centre of its model, with recyclable and reusable packaging favoured across the range.
The Eye Contour Cream Theine and Hyaluronic Acid is priced at £7.50 for 15ml and is available at the Aroma-Zone store at Westfield London and online at aroma-zone.com.
