ALLSKIN | MED Retinoid Portfolio

Cantabria Labs has launched a retinoid portfolio under its clinic-exclusive ALLSKIN | MED brand, introducing six formulations built on RETINDUO, the company's new retinoid delivery technology.

The portfolio is organised into three product families, each offered in graded potency levels so practitioners can prescribe and step patients up over time. The Retinoid Pigment Control Emulsions, available in potency levels one to three, target hyperpigmentation, melasma and uneven tone, combining the retinoid system with a pigment correction complex to regulate melanin production. The Retinoid Renewal Serums, in potency levels one and two, are lightweight formulas addressing fine lines, wrinkles and loss of firmness. The Retinoid Texture Repair Emulsion, in potency level two, is aimed at texture irregularities, enlarged pores and acne-prone skin.

RETINDUO combines three mechanisms in one system. Pure retinol is held in microsponges for sustained release, retinal is encapsulated in the company's AOX technology for immediate, controlled action, and a bioavailability booster supports retinoid performance in the skin. The dual-retinoid approach is designed to improve clinical efficacy while maintaining tolerability and barrier integrity, the persistent trade-off in retinoid prescribing.

The graded potency structure is the most practically useful element for clinics. Retinoid dropout is usually a tolerance problem rather than an efficacy one, and a stepped system gives practitioners a retention tool, keeping patients within the same brand as their skin acclimatises rather than losing them to irritation in the first weeks. It also extends the consultation-led retail model that distinguishes clinic-exclusive ranges from the increasingly crowded retail retinoid market.

ALLSKIN | MED was established in 2019 as Cantabria Labs' consulting-room-only line, integrating the Spanish dermatology company's patented technologies with established dermatological actives. Cantabria Labs is best known in the UK for its Heliocare photoprotection range, and its earlier retinoid technology, RetinSphere, already features in the existing ALLSKIN | MED line-up. The portfolio launched in April 2026.
