Beauty Works has introduced an upgraded Straightener and a new Wide Plate Straightener, both with a recommended retail price of £89, alongside the appointment of Olivia Attwood as its latest brand ambassador.
The collection is designed for styling natural hair and Beauty Works extensions. Both tools combine tourmaline-coated ceramic plates with heat technology that distributes warmth evenly across the styling surface, helping the plates glide through the hair.
Digital temperature settings range from 80°C to 220°C, allowing users to adjust the heat according to their hair type and styling requirements. Both models also feature ionic technology to help reduce static and flyaways and leave hair with a smoother finish.
The upgraded Beauty Works Straightener has 25mm plates and is designed for everyday styling, from straight lengths to soft waves and curls.
The new Wide Plate Straightener has 45mm plates, providing a larger styling surface for longer, thicker hair. The wider format covers more hair with each pass and can also be used to create waves and curls.
Attwood fronts the campaign wearing 24-inch Beauty Works Invisitip Nanobond extensions in Barley Blonde and Honey Blonde. Already a wearer of the brand’s extensions, her appointment brings its hair-extension and electrical styling ranges together within the campaign.
Both straighteners come with a heat-resistant bag, heat-resistant mat and user manual, and are available directly from Beauty Works.
High-risk cosmetic treatments including liquid Brazilian butt lifts, deep chemical peels and so-called vampire facials would be restricted to specified healthcare professionals under government proposals announced on 21 October.
