Obagi Medical CLENZIDERM M.D. Resurfacing Multi-Acid Peel Pads
Obagi Medical has expanded its CLENZIDERM M.D. range with Resurfacing Multi-Acid Peel Pads, an at-home exfoliating treatment developed for normal-to-oily and combination skin. The new formula combines 4% glycolic acid, 3% phytic acid, 2% salicylic acid and 1% mandelic acid. It is designed to address uneven texture, blemishes, dullness and the appearance of post-blemish marks, bringing four acids together in a single treatment step.
Niacinamide is included to support the skin barrier and help reduce the appearance of redness. The pre-soaked, dual-sided lyocell pads combine a smooth surface with a textured side, allowing the level of physical exfoliation to be adjusted during application.
An eight-week clinical test shows that after four weeks, 97% participants agreed that the pads smoothed skin texture, while after eight weeks, 83% reported an improvement in breakouts and blemishes.
The addition extends the CLENZIDERM M.D. line, which includes the Daily Lightweight Foaming Blemish Cleanser and Pore Therapy Exfoliating BHA Toner, with a pad format intended for use several evenings a week.
