AlumierMD HydraRescue Eye Pads
AlumierMD will launch HydraRescue Eye Pads on 20 October, expanding its biocellulose skincare range with a targeted treatment for dehydration, puffiness and visible fatigue around the eyes.
The launch follows the introduction of the HydraRescue Biocellulose Face Mask last year, bringing the technology into a format designed specifically for the under-eye area. The pads are intended for use at home and alongside professional treatment aftercare.
Biocellulose forms the basis of the delivery system, allowing the pads to adhere closely to the skin and retain moisture. The format is designed to maximise contact between the serum and the under-eye area while supporting hydration and skin-barrier comfort.
Dr Tom Kamal, a medical aesthetics practitioner, said: “Environmental stress, lifestyle dehydration and fatigue can exacerbate puffiness, dehydration and sensitivity around the eye area. What tired eyes need is greater hydration, which biocellulose provides. Biocellulose material can hold 100 times its own weight. This helps maximise contact between the eye pads and our skin, and helps create a protective seal over the skin to trap moisture and prevent water loss, which enhances hydration.”
The formula combines Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38, known as Matrixyl Synthe’6, with niacinamide and liquorice root extract. The peptide targets the appearance of fine lines, while niacinamide supports moisture retention and a more even-looking skin tone. Liquorice root extract is included to help soothe the delicate eye area and address visible puffiness.
Tocopheryl acetate, a form of vitamin E, provides antioxidant and moisturising support, while Triticum vulgare wheat seed extract helps hydrate dry skin and improve its texture.
HydraRescue Eye Pads are designed to refresh and smooth tired-looking eyes, with travel, disrupted sleep and pre-event skincare among their intended uses. The addition broadens the HydraRescue range beyond full-face masking to more targeted care.
