et al. Versatile Bronze Shade + Sculpt bronzer
et al. has launched Versatile Bronze Shade + Sculpt, a dual-tone powder bronzer with a soft-focus matte finish. Each refill pairs two complementary tones, one to bronze and warm the skin and one to sculpt and define, which can be used on their own or blended together for buildable, diffused dimension rather than a flat, constructed look.
The bronzer comes in three shade pairings: Biscuit, a natural beige with a warm sand; Truffle, a warm bronze with a soft tan; and Mocha, a soft cocoa with a rich espresso. The dual-tone format is pitched at both professional makeup artists and consumers, allowing tone to be adjusted and depth built up shade by shade.
The formula is talc-free and built around skincare-style ingredients including squalane, aloe vera leaf powder and vitamin E (tocopheryl acetate), which the brand says support comfortable wear and a natural, skin-like finish without visible texture. It is vegan and cruelty-free, and forms part of et al.'s refillable compact system, which the brand positions as a lower-waste approach to makeup.
et al. has identified a shift in the bronzer category, namely a move away from dry, flat powders and a growing demand for multifunctional and talc-free, skin-conscious formulas.
Anushka Patel, head of et al., said expectations of bronzer had changed. "“Bronzer has always been a staple in a makeup routine, but what people expect from it has changed. They want warmth and shape, without looking heavy. With Versatile Bronze, we wanted to create something that feels indulgent for the skin. It’s the ease and control of a powder, reimagined to deliver a soft, seamless finish” shares Patel.
“With Versatile Bronze, the focus was on keeping the formula simple but considered. We wanted to create a powder that sits comfortably on the skin and works with it, rather than disrupting it. By using a talc-free base and carefully selected ingredients like squalane, aloe vera and vitamin E, the formula supports skin health while delivering a smooth, refined finish” added Dr Gaby Prinsloo, Medical director at et al.
et al. is the iiaa's vegan makeup brand, created by a scientist and a makeup artist and drawing on the International Institute for Active Ageing's background in skin-health science, with a skin-first, refillable and cruelty-free positioning across its range.
Versatile Bronze Shade + Sculpt has an RRP of £30 and is available through et al. at etalbeautycollective.co.uk.
