Swiss Perfection launches in the UK
Swiss luxury skincare brand Swiss Perfection has officially launched in the UK, making its British retail debut through an exclusive partnership with Harrods. The launch marks the first time the 30-year-old skincare house has been available in the UK, introducing its Swiss cellular skincare portfolio to British consumers following its official retail launch on 27 July.
Swiss Perfection has established a dedicated presence within Harrods’ Knightsbridge Beauty Hall, joining the department store’s luxury skincare offering with a portfolio spanning serums, creams, essences, masks and intensive treatment programmes. The brand is currently listed as exclusive to Harrods, with products including Perfect Lift Serum, RS-28 Radiance Serum, Perfect Lift Rich Cream, Skin Protection Lotion and The Vital First Essence.
The UK launch forms part of Swiss Perfection’s wider international expansion following its acquisition by Shinsegae International in 2020. Prior to the acquisition, the brand had developed a strong professional presence through luxury spas and hotels across Europe, Asia Pacific and the Middle East, before expanding its retail footprint across markets including South Korea, China and Japan.
Three decades of Swiss cellular skincare
Founded in 1995, Swiss Perfection was the first skincare brand to apply plant cell extraction technology to cosmetics. At the centre of its formulations is its patented Cellular Active IRISA technology, derived from the rhizome of Iris Germanica.
The technology has its roots in the work of Dr Bernard Bovet, who was lead scientist at a cellular regeneration clinic in Montreux between 1966 and 1988. His research turned to the Iris Germanica after observing the resilience of the flower at his family home, Château de Vullierens, where the plants returned strongly despite Switzerland’s harsh winters. Every Iris Germanica used in Swiss Perfection’s skincare continues to be cultivated exclusively at the historic Château de Vullierens, a 700-year-old estate near Lake Geneva. The resulting Cellular Active IRISA complex forms the technological foundation of the collection and is designed to support skin regeneration, metabolism, hydration and the skin’s natural renewal processes.
RS-28 skin longevity collection arrives in the UK
Central to the Harrods launch is RS-28, Swiss Perfection’s most advanced skin longevity programme. The collection has been designed around the skin’s natural 28-day renewal cycle, targeting visible concerns including wrinkles, loss of firmness, uneven texture, dark spots, reduced radiance and dehydration. The range includes the RS-28 Rejuvenation Serum, Rejuvenation Cream, Rejuvenation Eye Serum, Radiance Serum, Rejuvenation Secret Mask, Eye Contour Solution and Intensive Revitalizing Program.
At its centre is the RS-28 Rejuvenation Serum, developed following 28 years of cellular skincare research. The second-generation serum incorporates internationally patented IRISA Exosome Technology, at a concentration 19 times greater than the original formula, alongside NAD+ boosters, yeast extract and Alteromonas ferment. The formula has been developed to support the skin’s natural renewal process while addressing visible loss of firmness, elasticity, smoothness, even tone and radiance.
The broader RS-28 collection combines Cellular Active IRISA technology with highly concentrated skincare actives to support the skin through a complete renewal cycle. The RS-28 Rejuvenation Cream, for example, combines Cellular Active IRISA with IRISA Exosome and IRISA Intense technologies in a concentrated formula targeting firmness, elasticity, hydration and luminosity.
From luxury spas to UK retail
Swiss Perfection’s arrival at Harrods represents a significant step in the brand’s transition from its heritage within luxury spas and professional hospitality into an increasingly international retail skincare business. Following the Shinsegae International acquisition, the house has been expanding its global footprint while retaining its Swiss manufacturing, botanical heritage and focus on cellular skincare technology.
The Harrods partnership now gives Swiss Perfection its first permanent retail presence in Britain, placing the brand alongside some of the world’s most established luxury and science-led skincare houses within one of the UK’s most prominent beauty destinations. Swiss Perfection is available exclusively in the UK at Harrods, Knightsbridge and through Harrods online. The UK launch follows the brand’s official debut on 27 July 2026.
