Elemis Red Light Mask

ELEMIS has launched the Red Light Mask, an LED red and near-infrared light therapy device designed for use both in-spa and at home.

The mask uses 66 LEDs, 60 of them Bi-LEDs, to emit three wavelengths that target the skin at different depths. Red light at 630nm enhances collagen production and reduces redness; near-infrared light at 830nm penetrates deeper to stimulate cellular repair, treat the visible signs of photodamage and increase oxygen flow; and deep infrared light at 1070nm reaches deepest, supporting elastin production and strengthening the skin's structure. The mask is made from lightweight medical-grade silicone that moulds to the face, and is used in 10-minute sessions.

In clinical testing, the mask delivered at least a 47 per cent improvement in the appearance of brightness, smoothness and redness, and 95 per cent of users saw an improvement in the appearance of their skin texture, firmness and tone, with results shown over four weeks of consistent use.

The mask is designed for both professional and home use, working as an add-on within a facial as well as a retail device, and is best used after cleansing and exfoliating and before applying skincare.
