Ghost Fragrances Lunar Goddess

Ghost Fragrances has launched Lunar Goddess, a new women's eau de toilette built around a warm, summery scent profile. The fragrance is a bright, skin-like summer scent designed to carry from day into evening, and joins the brand's range of accessible high-street perfumes.

Lunar Goddess was created by perfumers Leandro Petit and Benoit Lapouza. It opens on bright pink pear and mandarin set against salted floral notes, giving the top of the fragrance a fresh, slightly saline character. As it develops, the scent moves into a creamier base of bourbon vanilla, cashmeran and musk, which the brand describes as leaving a soft, skin-like trail with lasting power from day to night.

The salted-skin and gourmand-vanilla combination places Lunar Goddess within the warm, edible-leaning direction that has dominated mainstream fragrance in recent seasons, where salty, sweet and musky accords are used to suggest sun and bare skin. At its price point it gives high-street retailers a summer scent that reads as more contemporary than a straightforward floral.

Ghost Fragrances is a British fragrance house known for accessible, feminine scents sold across the UK high street. The brand launched its debut perfume, Ghost the Fragrance, around the turn of the millennium and has since built a library of more than 25 fragrances, with the original release remaining among its best known. Lunar Goddess extends that portfolio into the warm-weather, summer-scent space.
