Blue Lagoon Skin Science BL+ Lip Renewal Mask

Blue Lagoon Skin Science has launched the BL+ Lip Renewal Mask, an overnight lip treatment that takes an anti-ageing rather than a hydration approach to lip care. The mask targets the visible signs of ageing around the lips, including fine lines, loss of firmness, texture changes and the effects of cumulative UV exposure, in a category that has traditionally focused on moisture alone.

The treatment combines Bakuchiol, the plant-derived alternative to retinol, with the brand's proprietary BL+ COMPLEX and collagen-supporting technology. Bakuchiol encourages natural skin renewal and improves texture without the irritation often linked to traditional retinoids, which is the basis for the product being positioned at the sensitive lip area specifically. The lip skin is thin and particularly vulnerable to collagen loss, environmental stress and UV damage, all of which contribute to fine lines, reduced definition and loss of volume over time.
