Benefit The POREfessional Concealer

Benefit has launched The POREfessional Concealer, a full-coverage liquid concealer in 35 shades with a smoothing, blurring finish, extending its POREfessional complexion range.

The concealer delivers buildable, full coverage with a natural finish and is built on a skincare base, 76 per cent of which, before colour pigments are added, is formulated to hydrate the skin. It is designed to blur, smooth and hydrate for up to 24 hours, and is waterproof, crease-proof and smudge-proof. A soft-cushion tip applies the product precisely, to be dotted on, swiped and blended and built up as needed.

Key ingredients include microspheres to help blur the look of skin texture, Enantia chlorantha bark extract to help reduce excess surface oil, and hyaluronic acid to hydrate.

Benefit reveals that in a self-evaluation by 119 participants after a week of use, 100 per cent said it instantly blurred pores and 97 per cent said it visibly smoothed skin texture, while the 24-hour claims are based on an instrumental test of 30 participants.

The concealer extends Benefit's POREfessional franchise, following The POREfessional Foundation which launched last year, and had a first outing at the brand's Beauty School pop-up with Secret Cinema before reaching counters. The brand has partnered with Secret Cinema this month to open Benefit Beauty School, a live beauty activation built into Secret Cinema's production of Grease: The Immersive Movie Musical. It is the first partnership between the two companies, and takes the form of a beauty space that guests move through as part of the show, with touch-up stations, photo moments and interactive games.
