Wildsmith Skin adds two UK countryside spa partnerships

Wildsmith Skin has announced two new UK spa partnerships, bringing its Radical Botany treatments and products to Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere and to Wilderness Reserve in Suffolk. The deals extend the British skincare and wellbeing brand's presence in luxury countryside hospitality.

Wildsmith, established in 2018 and based at the Heckfield Estate in Hampshire, already works with venues including Liberty, Belmond and Faena. The two new partnerships add two English countryside estates to that network and continue the brand's expansion through luxury hotel and hospitality tie-ups.

At Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere, Wildsmith supplies the treatment menu at the Fairmont Spa, which is set within a restored Victorian stable block. The signature treatments are The Mere Reset, a 120-minute experience combining body brushing, a rebalancing full body or back massage and a Wildsmith Radical Botany Facial, and the Wildsmith Golfers Recovery, a 60-minute deep tissue massage focused on the hands, forearms, shoulders, lower back, legs and feet that a round of golf tends to strain. The wider Wildsmith menu is also available, including the Ceramide Balm Massage, Muscle Recovery Massage and Rebalancing Massage. The Mere is a Cheshire estate with a hotel, destination spa and championship golf that developer Select Group acquired and has transformed into Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere as its flagship UK asset.

At Wilderness Reserve, a 6,000-acre private estate in Suffolk's Yox Valley, Wildsmith's product range is placed in-room across the estate alongside a bespoke treatment menu. It includes the Wilderness Wellbeing Experience, a signature journey of salt-scrub exfoliation, a massage using Wildsmith's circadian oils and a personalised facial, and the Wildsmith Circadian Rhythm Massage, a full body treatment aligned to the time of day. Guests can also book the Radical Botany Facial, Muscle Recovery Massage and Rebalance Massage. Wilderness Reserve spans three adjoining estates, Sibton Park, Chapel Barn and Blyth Barn, and accommodates up to 254 guests, and is run as a long-term conservation and restoration project.

Katherine Pye, chief executive of Wildsmith, said the collaborations offered guests "a slower, more considered approach to wellbeing" in both settings. Clive McNish, general manager at Wilderness Reserve, called Wildsmith "a perfectly aligned British wellness brand" and said it would elevate the estate's in-house guest experiences.

Wildsmith's approach, which it calls Radical Botany, pairs plant-based ingredients with clinical formulation and aligns treatments to the body's circadian rhythm. The brand takes its name from the 19th-century botanist William Walker Wildsmith, who created the arboretum at the Heckfield Estate. Its Radical Botany Facial is clinically tested, and the brand markets it as the UK's first clinically proven facial.

The Wildsmith treatment menus are available now at the Fairmont Spa at Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere and at Wilderness Reserve, bookable through each venue.
