Wildsmith partners with British Airways for First cabin skincare collection
British skincare brand Wildsmith has partnered with British Airways to introduce a six-piece Circadian Rhythm Collection in the airline’s First cabin, alongside a wider rollout of lounge amenities and an in-flight audio experience.
The collection launched on flights departing London Heathrow on 6 October, with introduction on inbound services planned over the coming months. Developed specifically for air travel, it focuses on hydration, skin-barrier support and comfort as passengers move between time zones.
The six formulations comprise Hand & Body Lotion, Hydrating Face Cream, Face Mist, Lip Balm, Hydrating Overnight Mask and Ceramide Multi Balm. The selection brings together daytime moisturising products and overnight care, with the mist and lip balm addressing comfort in the dry cabin environment. Products are presented in British Airways’ new unisex First amenity kit, created with British heritage accessories house Swaine London. Its design draws inspiration from the suitcases carried by early air travellers.
Katherine Pye, CEO of Wildsmith, said: “We are immensely proud to partner with British Airways, a British name recognised around the world for exceptional service and a thoughtful approach to travel. At Wildsmith, we believe travel should enhance wellbeing, not compromise it. When developing this collection with British Airways, we looked beyond skincare to consider the full impact that travel can have on how people feel, rest and recover. Inspired by our expertise in circadian wellbeing, we curated a collection that supports hydration, comfort and restoration throughout the journey, helping passengers arrive at their destination feeling their very best.”
The partnership will extend to British Airways’ Concorde Room, First and Club business-class lounges, where Wildsmith Hand & Body Wash, Hand & Body Lotion, Shampoo and Conditioner will be gradually introduced from the beginning of November.
From 1 November, passengers will also be able to access Treescape through the airline’s in-flight entertainment system. Created with sound artist Justin Wiggan, the immersive audio experience draws on the trees, soil and weather of the Heckfield Estate, bringing another element of Wildsmith’s wellbeing offering on board.
Wildsmith originated on the Heckfield Estate in Hampshire, where it was initially developed to supply amenities for Heckfield Place and curate wellbeing experiences at The Bothy by Wildsmith. Named after the 19th-century horticulturist William Walker Wildsmith, the brand combines botanical ingredients with science-led skincare and treatments.
Kama Ayurveda has announced its first wellness studio partnership, joining Blanc Space Studios for a three-month collaboration across its Fulham and Notting Hill locations in London. Launching on 24 October, the partnership will follow Kama Ayurveda’s spa collaborations with Fairmont The Mere and Fairmont Windsor Park, extending its presence into studios offering Pilates, yoga and other movement classes.
