The Landmark London unveils £4 million spa transformation

The Landmark London has unveiled its newly renovated spa following a £4 million investment, positioning the redesigned space as a standalone wellness destination for hotel residents, Londoners and day-spa guests.

Located within the five-star Marylebone property, the 710sq m spa has been reimagined by architecture studio Alex Kravetz Design, with spa consultant Paula Perkins involved across concept development, treatment partner selection and the operational strategy. The interiors combine natural stone and marble with muted organic tones and ambient lighting, creating a contemporary contrast to the activity of central London.

The refurbishment introduces a comprehensive thermal suite designed and installed by Barr + Wray. Facilities include a 34°C vitality pool with swan-neck hydrotherapy jets, an aromatic steam room, Finnish sauna, ice fountain, bucket shower, multi-sensory experience showers and heated marble loungers supplied by Fabio Alemanno.

Four individual treatment rooms and a double treatment suite have also been created, alongside a new relaxation area and retail lounge. The shared treatment space will accommodate experiences for couples, as well as treatments designed for parents and children. The development is intended to establish the spa as a destination in its own right, combining refined design with performance-led treatments and a broader approach to physical and emotional wellbeing. The new layout has also been designed to improve the arrival journey and operational flow, while allowing the treatment rooms to be positioned in a quieter area of the spa.

The treatment menu has been developed in partnership with British skincare brand OSKIA, collagen-focused professional skincare brand QMS Medicosmetics and holistic botanical brand Ashmira Botanica. Its philosophy combines Eastern healing traditions, including influences connected to the hotel’s Thai heritage, with modern skincare science and personalised treatment protocols.

Three new 90-minute signature treatments headline the menu. OSKIA’s The Eastern Alignment combines acupressure, joint mobilisation, Thai foot reflexology and myofascial techniques to address muscular fatigue and postural tension. Ashmira Botanica’s Sound Energy Journey incorporates pink clay, Yin essential oils, Eastern massage techniques and Himalayan sound bowls, while QMS Medicosmetics’ Camera Ready Facial combines collagen-focused skincare and facial massage to brighten and refine the complexion. Signature treatments are priced from £265.

Further treatments include QMS’s collagen-focused facials, OSKIA’s Cryo Sculpting Facial and Circadian Syncing Deep Sleep Ritual, Ashmira Botanica’s Five Elements Facial and Meridian Rebalance Journey, and a personalised massage developed specifically for The Landmark London.

The spa has also launched its first dedicated collection of children’s and family treatments. The Counting Sheep experience allows a parent and child aged eight or over to receive calming facial, shoulder and scalp treatments together, while the Teen Facial has been developed for guests aged 12 to 16 experiencing hormonal breakouts, sensitivity or redness.

A redesigned 24-hour fitness suite features Matrix Fitness equipment from its Onyx collection, alongside free weights, personal training and a Visbody AI-powered 3D body scanner. The scanner combines body-composition analysis with posture and circumference measurements to support personalised fitness assessments and track progress over time.

The spa is available to hotel guests, day-spa visitors and members. New spa-day experiences include a Thermal Journey, a Signature Spa and Tea Ritual combining a facial with afternoon tea in the hotel’s Winter Garden, and a Wellness Reset Journey incorporating massage, spa access and a detox lunch.

Three membership options have also been introduced. Gold membership is priced from £6,500 annually for one person, Bronze membership from £5,000 annually, and a three-month membership is available for £1,400. Membership benefits vary by tier and include access to the spa and 24-hour gym, fitness assessments, personal training, treatments, guest passes and hotel privileges.

The Spa at The Landmark London is now open daily from 7am until 9.30pm, with 24-hour access to the gym.
