Medik8 Exo-PDRN Prismatic+ Serum

Medik8 has launched the Exo-PDRN Prismatic+ Serum, its most significant move yet into the fast-growing exosome and PDRN skincare space.

The serum combines two of skincare's most talked-about ingredients: exosomes, which are tiny structures released by cells containing proteins, lipids and genetic material that support the skin's natural signalling processes, and PDRN, polydeoxyribonucleotides composed of DNA particles that support skin recovery, help calm visible redness and reveal smoother-looking skin. Critically, both are plant-based and vegan in this formula. Medik8's vegan PDRN uses a stable tetrahedral structure designed for optimal penetration into the skin.

The formula also contains a Triple Exosome Complex delivering up to 50 billion exosomes per tube, alongside Expression Line MiniProtein, which targets dynamic expression lines, and GF MiniProtein, which works on skin structure over time. The lightweight, water-textured serum is designed to hydrate the skin and improve absorption of subsequent products.

The serum also exists in a professional-grade version, the Exo-PDRN Prismatic+ Pro Concentrate, intended for use during microneedling and as aftercare following facials, peels, laser and LED treatments. Independent clinical testing showed the Pro Concentrate combined with microneedling delivered 8.2 times greater visible wrinkle reduction compared with microneedling alone.

Medik8 was founded in 2009 by UK scientists and brothers Elliot and Daniel Isaacs, with a background spanning physiology, pharmacology and biochemistry. The brand is B-Corp certified, manufactures from its own ISO-certified Innovation Centre outside London and holds a Made in Britain accreditation. Its CSA philosophy, vitamin C and SPF by day and vitamin A by night, remains the foundation of its approach, with the Exo-PDRN Prismatic+ Serum representing a significant expansion into regenerative skincare technology.
