Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Complexion Perfector

Laura Mercier has relaunched its iconic Secret Camouflage concealer as the Secret Camouflage Complexion Perfector.

The original Secret Camouflage has been a cornerstone of the brand since its launch, built around the idea that full coverage should never look heavy or unnatural. The new Complexion Perfector retains that principle but upgrades the formula significantly. Each compact contains three adjustable shades, a neutral base alongside warm and cool corrective tones, allowing precise colour matching and correction without requiring advanced colour theory knowledge. The application technique is straightforward: apply the base shade, then adjust with the cool shade if the result is too light or the warm shade if too dark.

The formula is waterproof, sweat-proof, transfer-proof and crease-proof, with 16-hour fade-proof wear tested across humidity. It delivers instant full coverage over blemishes, scars, capillaries, redness, age spots and facial discolouration, blurring pores and smoothing texture without settling into lines. It is non-comedogenic throughout. Vitamins C and E alongside chamomile extract are included to soothe the skin barrier and help prevent further dark spots and discolouration over time.

Laura Mercier launched her namesake brand in 1996, with camouflage at the very centre of its founding philosophy. The Secret Camouflage was one of the first products she developed, growing out of the professional techniques she had refined working with models and talent on set. The brand, now owned by Orveon following its acquisition in 2022, is distributed through specialty, beauty and department stores globally and remains best known for the Translucent Loose Setting Powder, one of the bestselling setting powders in the world.

Available from 19 May at all major retailers.
