Image Skincare VOL.U.LIFT Body

IMAGE Skincare has expanded its VOL.U.LIFT franchise with the launch of VOL.U.LIFT BODY, a new sculpting and firming treatment developed specifically to address visible changes to body skin associated with GLP-1 use and rapid weight loss. The launch follows the success of the original VOL.U.LIFT facial treatment, which sold at a rate of one product every five minutes following its debut. While the facial formula focuses on the appearance of lost facial volume, the new body treatment has been tailored to address sagging, crepey texture, dehydration and loss of tone across areas including the abdomen, arms, thighs and buttocks.

Developed by a plastic surgeon, the 156g treatment combines a multi-ingredient sculpting and firming complex with IMAGE Skincare’s patent-pending XOSM Technology, bringing the brand’s GLP-1-focused skincare strategy into the body category for the first time. The launch comes as the conversation around rapid weight loss increasingly moves beyond the much-publicised phenomenon of “Ozempic face”. Significant changes in weight can also alter the appearance of skin across the body as reductions in underlying fat and changes in skin elasticity leave some people experiencing laxity, crepiness and reduced firmness.

VOL.U.LIFT BODY is designed for consumers experiencing those concerns during or after GLP-1/GIP-supported weight loss, but can also be used by anyone experiencing loose, crepey or ageing body skin, regardless of whether they use weight-loss medication.

Sculpting, firming and hydration in one body treatment

At the centre of VOL.U.LIFT BODY is a 360-degree body complex designed to target skin firmness, texture, hydration and contour. A marine-derived bioactive is used to support a more sculpted appearance, working through mechanisms associated with adiponectin release and mitochondrial activity. Ingredient testing recorded a 19.2% reduction in abdominal skin-fold measurement, while antioxidant-rich blackberry extract is incorporated to support visible volume, firmness and elasticity.

The formula also contains Heptapeptide-7, a signalling peptide selected for its role in supporting collagen and elastin biosynthesis. Ingredient testing demonstrated two to three times greater collagen production compared with control and a 21% increase in elastin output. Bakuchiol complements the peptide technology, helping to smooth crepey-looking texture and improve the appearance of firmness and elasticity without the irritation sometimes associated with traditional retinoids. For hydration, IMAGE Skincare has incorporated HA Silanol, a next-generation combination of hyaluronic acid and silicium developed to deeply hydrate, plump and restore suppleness. Coffee arabica seed oil and phytosterols provide an additional smoothing and toning action, helping improve the appearance of cellulite and body contours.

XOSM Technology brings antioxidant delivery to the body

The formula is supported by the same XOSM Technology found within IMAGE Skincare’s wider VOL.U.LIFT platform. The patent-pending biomimetic delivery system encapsulates antioxidants including vitamin C, ectoin and astaxanthin-rich microalgae, helping protect the ingredients while enhancing their delivery and supporting the skin barrier. Rather than focusing on one visible consequence of rapid weight loss, the formulation has been developed to address a cluster of changes that can occur together – including loose skin, altered appearance of body contours, reduced elasticity, dehydration and crepey texture. The treatment can also be incorporated alongside professional body contouring procedures, extending the product’s relevance to aesthetic and body treatment clinics as well as homecare routines.

IMAGE Skincare VOL.U.LIFT BODY is priced at £110 and is available through IMAGE Skincare UK.
