Prept Launches in the UK
Prept, the skin preparation brand co-founded by aesthetic doctor Dr Kam Lally, has launched in the UK with a professional hypochlorous solution system spanning in-clinic cleansing and take-home aftercare.
Available to clinics and professional partners through Church Pharmacy, Aspire Skin and Wow Facial, the launch comprises two formats: prept PRO, a 500ml solution for the treatment room, and prept GO, a 100ml mist for patients to use after procedures and within their daily skincare routine.
The paired formats connect the skin preparation stage of a treatment with ongoing care at home, giving clinics both a professional cleansing product and a corresponding retail option. PRO is designed for use before, during and after procedures, while GO contains the same formulation in a portable spray format.
Manufactured in the UK, the solution is produced through electrolysis of purified water and medical-grade sodium chloride, without acidification or bleach conversion. It has a near-neutral pH of 6.25–7.4 and contains no alcohol, fragrance, preservatives or stabilisers. Developed as a cosmetic skin-cleansing product, it is designed for repeated use on sensitive and reactive skin, cleansing and refreshing the skin while visibly calming redness.
Explaining the ambition behind the launch, Lally said: “prept exists to reset the assumption that ‘all HOCl is equal’ and raise category standards to what clinics and patients should expect and deserve.”
Bottles are made from 100% recycled Prevented Ocean Plastic sourced from Bali, with no outer plastic packaging or cardboard cartons. Clinic marketing materials follow a digital-first approach, reducing the need for printed collateral, while 2% of every sale supports the prept Foundation.
