Bare Minerals Original Mineral Veil Daily Dose Setting Powder

bareMinerals has expanded its Mineral Veil range with Original Mineral Veil Daily Dose Setting Powder, combining up to 12 hours of makeup setting with skincare benefits and a new press-to-dose dispenser.

The packaging introduces a button-operated mechanism that releases a measured amount of loose powder into the closed cap. Once opened, the powder can be picked up with a brush and swept across the complexion, giving users greater control over the amount dispensed and helping to reduce mess and product waste.

The talc-free formula combines vitamin B5, niacinamide, magnesium and hyaluronic acid, with iron-based pigments providing sheer colour. It controls shine, blurs the appearance of pores and supports the skin barrier, bringing skincare ingredients into a product traditionally focused on setting and mattifying makeup.

An independent one-week clinical study recorded a 14% immediate improvement in skin barrier function and a 10% improvement after one week of use. The same testing measured immediate improvements of 30% in skin tone evenness and 24% in skin clarity. In separate consumer research, 96% of participants agreed that the powder did not cling to dry patches when worn with makeup for 12 hours.

The launch includes four shades: Sheer Fair, Sheer Medium and Sheer Deep, alongside the brightening shade Sheer Pinky Peach. The range combines translucent coverage with a soft matte finish and can be used across the face or applied selectively to areas prone to shine.
