Delo Rx The Brightener

Delo Rx has launched The Brightener, a concentrated anti-pigment serum which addresses a specific and largely unmet need: an effective brightening treatment that works without clogging pores or aggravating congestion and breakouts.

Most anti-pigment serums rely on oil or silicone-based formulations that can worsen congestion, leaving the significant proportion of adults dealing with breakout-prone skin with limited options. The Brightener is entirely free from oils, silicones and fragrance, making it suitable for adult acne, rosacea and periorificial dermatitis alongside normal and sensitive skin types. Clinical tolerance testing on a sensitive skin panel confirmed minimal irritancy despite the formula's potency. It is suitable across skin phototypes I to VI.

At the heart of the formula is the 18% LumiXII Complex, a proprietary blend of 12 active ingredients that intervenes at multiple stages of the pigmentation cascade simultaneously. The complex includes two brightening peptides, nonapeptide-1 and tetrapeptide-30, alongside niacinamide, tranexamic acid, liquorice root extract, silver vine extract, vitamin C, Kakadu plum extract, gluconolactone, N-acetyl glucosamine, organic cucumber extract and an advanced form of hyaluronic acid. Together these block the signals that trigger melanin production, inhibit the key enzyme in melanin synthesis, reduce melanosome transfer, neutralise oxidative stress and accelerate the shedding of already-pigmented cells, all while maintaining barrier resilience.

The Brightener is delivered in an airless mist sprayer, a format described by the brand as almost unheard of in spray dispensers. The airless mechanism keeps the formula as stable and fresh in the final application as the first.

Delo Rx was founded by London-based dermatologist Dr Stefanie Williams, founder and medical director of Eudelo Dermatology & Skin Wellbeing. Williams, who lives with an overlap of adult acne and rosacea herself, created the range after two decades of treating patients who struggled to find anti-ageing skincare that did not aggravate their skin. Known in the industry as the Godfather of Collagen Banking, she is a GMC-registered doctor, German-qualified dermatologist, published author and international speaker. The Brightener is the fourth product in the Delo Rx range, joining The Hybrid Cleanser, The Youth Matrix Activator and The Active Hydrator.
