BTL Aesthetics EMFUSION
BTL Aesthetics has announced the launch of EMFUSION, a new non-invasive facial management device designed to support long-term skin health through restoration of the skin barrier.
Set to debut at CCR 2026, EMFUSION marks BTL’s latest entry into skin-focused aesthetic technology, shifting the conversation from surface-level rejuvenation to skin function, resilience and barrier longevity.
The treatment uses BTL’s patented DYNAMiQ technology, which is designed to help rebalance and strengthen the epidermal barrier. Rather than focusing only on visible signs of ageing, EMFUSION targets the skin barrier as a key part of long-term skin quality, helping support the skin’s defence against environmental stressors and visible ageing.
The device is positioned as a non-invasive treatment that can be used before other procedures, alongside combination treatment protocols or as part of ongoing skin maintenance programmes. This makes it relevant for clinics looking to support clients before or after more intensive treatments, as well as those seeking a regular barrier-focused facial option.
EMFUSION uses DYNAMiQ technology to induce epidermal resonance and support the natural processes involved in skin barrier formation. The treatment also delivers a specially formulated blend of active substances to help promote barrier strength, hydration and an immediate improvement in skin appearance.
The treatment protocol is built around four phases: Refine, Activate, Fuse and Seal. The phases are designed to prepare the skin, support epidermal balance, enhance delivery of barrier-supporting actives and lock in hydration while reinforcing the skin’s protective layer.
Key actives associated with the EMFUSION protocol include niacinamide, allantoin, provitamin B5, konjac root extract, ceramides and ectoin. These ingredients are used to support hydration, comfort, barrier lipids and protection against environmental stressors.
In a clinical evaluation of DYNAMiQ technology published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, 24 female subjects received one treatment and were assessed seven days later. The study reported a significant reduction in transepidermal water loss by day seven, representing an 80.3% improvement in water vapour loss. It also reported that 100% of subjects were satisfied with the results and 96% said their skin felt more hydrated and nourished.
For clinics, EMFUSION offers a barrier-focused treatment that can sit within skin longevity, hydration, post-procedure support and maintenance programmes. It gives practitioners a non-invasive option for clients who may not be ready for more intensive procedures but still want visible skin improvement and a stronger long-term skin health strategy.
