111SKIN Precision Peel
111SKIN has launched Precision Peel, a new at-home resurfacing treatment inspired by the chemical peels performed at its 111 Harley St. clinic.
The 40ml treatment combines mandelic acid, salicylic acid and lactobionic acid with papaya-derived papain to exfoliate at different levels of the skin, helping to improve uneven texture, dullness, congestion and the appearance of discolouration.
The formula also contains milk thistle extract, alongside 111SKIN’s NAC Y² antioxidant complex of N-acetyl cysteine, vitamin C and escin, plus glutathione delivered through niosomes.
In a four-week clinical study involving 30 people, Precision Peel delivered a 19% improvement in skin tone, while a separate consumer study found that 92% of 63 participants said their skin felt smoother after four weeks.
Designed for evening use two to three times a week, two to three pumps are applied to clean, dry skin and left on for up to 20 minutes before rinsing. Those new to chemical exfoliation can begin with once-weekly use and increase gradually.
