The Organic Pharmacy UV365 Protection Ageing Defence

The Organic Pharmacy has added the UV365 Protection Ageing Defence to its range, a mineral sunscreen available in SPF 30 and SPF 50.

The formula uses non-nano zinc oxide and titanium dioxide as its mineral filters, slightly larger particles that block and deflect UVA and UVB rays without being absorbed into the skin. Hyaluronic acid delivers hydration and supports elastin synthesis alongside witch hazel water, which soothes and tones, and carrot root extract, rich in beta carotene and vitamin A, which provides antioxidant protection and supports overall skin health. The lightweight, water-resistant formula defends against UVA, UVB, blue light and pollution, and is suitable for sensitive skin. The SPF 30 is formulated with 84.4% natural ingredients and the SPF 50 with 49.6%. The formula is clinically proven for antioxidant activity and reduction of oxidative stress, and dermatologically tested on sensitive skin.

The Organic Pharmacy was co-founded in 2002 by Margo Marrone, a pharmacist, homeopath and yogi, who grew the brand from a single shop on the King's Road in London at a time when scepticism around organic products was widespread, into a global brand now present in more than 40 countries. Marrone's Iranian upbringing was central to the brand's founding philosophy, shaped by childhood memories of visiting herbalist bazaars where remedies were mixed on site from natural ingredients. All research and development at The Organic Pharmacy is supervised by a pharmacist, ensuring that innovations and reformulations are monitored to the same clinical standards applied across the brand's more than two decades of operation. The UV365 launch coincides with the brand's arrival at Marks & Spencer, its first major UK retail partnership following a brand refresh.
