Olaplex Nº.4 CURL + Nº.5 CURL

Olaplex has launched the Nº.4CURL Bond Shaper Hydrating Curl Shampoo and Nº.5CURL Bond Shaper Hydrating Curl Conditioner, its first products developed specifically for curly, coily and wavy hair. Both are available now at uk.olaplex.com and through Olaplex stockists.

The duo addresses a long-standing challenge in textured haircare: achieving genuine cleansing, hydration and repair within a single wash system without compromising curl definition or causing dryness. Both products are powered by Olaplex's patented 3D Bond Shaper Technology and Hydra-Define Technology, working at a molecular level to strengthen hair's internal structure, enhance natural curl shape and bounce, and deliver multidimensional strength from six different points. Used together, the system delivers 50% less frizz in one wash, seven days of hydration, instantly stronger hair with less breakage and 96% of users agreeing hair was easier to detangle. Both are silicone-free, SLS and SLES-free and curly girl method compatible.

The Nº.4CURL shampoo is a silky crème-gel formula with essential slip to prevent tangles during cleansing, removing buildup without stripping the hair. The Nº.5CURL conditioner adds two additional technologies: Oil Mesh Network Polymers, which bind shine-boosting oils to the hair cuticle, and a natural silicone alternative derived from squalene-rich olive oil, providing enhanced slip and protection. Both carry Olaplex's signature scent with a heightened mint profile, and are suitable for all porosity levels across all curl patterns.

The launch extends a carefully tiered system that now spans Nº.4FINE and Nº.5FINE for volume, Nº.4C for clarifying, Nº.4P and Nº.5P for toning blondes, and the original Nº.4 and Nº.5 for all hair types, with the curl duo now completing the range's coverage of textured hair. Olaplex, now part of Henkel following its acquisition, was originally founded in 2014 by scientists Eric Pressly and Craig Hawker on a single bond-building technology that went on to become one of the most referenced innovations in professional haircare.
