Murad Reformulates Retinol Youth Renewal Serum
Murad has launched the next generation of its Retinol Youth Renewal Serum, reformulating the bestseller to target 10 visible signs of ageing. Inspired by developments in skin longevity science, the new formula uses 4X Active Retinoid Technology, a multi-action retinoid complex developed to deliver accelerated skin renewal while remaining gentle enough for regular use.
It is paired with four types of hyaluronic acid to provide multi-weight hydration, plump the skin and help offset dryness, alongside four collagen amino acids and antioxidants to support hydration and help protect the skin's natural collagen.
The serum targets 10 concerns including fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, loss of firmness and elasticity, enlarged pores, uneven tone, dullness, dehydration, roughness and changes in texture and clarity. In a four-week clinical study of 30 participants, after two weeks 100% showed visible improvements in elasticity and firmness, 100% in skin texture, tone and radiance, and 93% in fine lines and wrinkles.
Designed for evening use, a thin layer is applied to clean skin before moisturiser, with frequency reduced if sensitivity occurs and SPF used the following morning. The formula is cruelty-free and made without alcohol, animal-derived ingredients, formaldehyde, gluten, mineral oil, oxybenzone, parabens, petrolatum, phthalates, SLS/SLES, silicones, sulphates or synthetic colours.
The next generation of its Retinol Youth Renewal Serum is available from 01 September.
Armani Beauty is introducing a playful new chapter to its colour portfolio with Armani Dolci Makeup Blush, the first release from the brand’s new Dolci Makeup collection. Ahead of its nationwide launch, shade 5 Mauve Blush appeared on Rebecca Donaldson at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival. Makeup artist Kelly McClain used the rich mauve shade to create a softly flushed finish that complemented Donaldson’s red carpet look.
