Glow Recipe PDRN+ Tinted Soft Matte Lip Blur Balm

Glow Recipe is moving into treatment-led lip colour with the launch of PDRN+ Tinted Soft Matte Lip Blur Balm, a new formula inspired by Korea’s soft-blur lip trend.

The balm has an airy, whipped texture that diffuses pigment across the lips for a soft matte, blurred finish, with buildable colour designed to remain comfortable without cracking or flaking. A slim, tapered doe-foot applicator allows for more precise application.

At the centre of the formula is vegan prickly pear PDRN, used to support the lip barrier and improve softness and smoothness. It is combined with hyaluronic acid and panthenol for hydration, antioxidant-rich red microalgae to support a smoother, fuller appearance, and colloidal oatmeal to soothe and create a breathable protective layer over the lips.

In an independent clinical study of 30 people, the formula improved lip barrier health and hydration both immediately and over time, with lip hydration increasing by 68% after one week of use.

The launch follows the growing crossover between skincare and lip colour, pairing the blurred, diffused finish associated with Korean lip products with ingredients more commonly found in barrier-supporting skincare.

Glow Recipe PDRN+ Tinted Soft Matte Lip Blur Balm, £21, launches on 7 September at Sephora UK, both in store and online.
