Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Mousse

Huda Beauty has launched Liquid Matte Mousse, a new whipped lip colour designed to bring matte lips back with a softer, more comfortable finish. Arriving ten years after the brand first launched its original liquid matte lipstick, the new formula reimagines high-impact matte colour through a plush, weightless mousse texture that delivers a soft-blurred finish.

Liquid Matte Mousse has been created for what the brand calls “softcore matte lips”, combining buildable colour, flexible wear and visible smoothing without the heavy or drying feel traditionally associated with matte lip products.

The formula has an airy whipped texture that glides onto the lips for an even, cushiony application. Each swipe is designed to visibly blur lip lines and texture, leaving lips looking smoother and softly defined with a modern matte finish.

The product comes in a squeezable tube with an angled, cushiony applicator to support easy, controlled application. It can be worn alone for a diffused soft matte look or paired with Huda Beauty’s Lip Contour 2.0 matte pencil for a more defined lip combo.

According to an independent study of 100 people with various skin tones, 99% agreed the application experience was smooth and seamless, 98% agreed the formula felt lightweight, 92% agreed it delivered a smooth, comfortable modern matte feel, and 92% agreed it visibly smoothed lip texture and lines.

The launch includes eight nude shades designed to suit different undertones and lip looks, from soft pink and peachy nude to rich berry, warm brown and deep cacao.

Liquid Matte Mousse is priced at £24 and available from Huda Beauty launching on 13 July 2026.
