Cerruti 1881 VIVO Elixir
Cerruti 1881 is extending its VIVO fragrance line with the launch of VIVO Elixir, a new aromatic woody fougère that deepens the brand’s men’s scent offer with a richer, more intense profile.
VIVO Elixir brings together Middle Eastern notes and a western fougère structure, creating a scent built around contrast and depth. Pink pepper, nutmeg and lavandin open the fragrance, before a heart of saffron, vanilla and suede introduces warmth and softness. In the base, oud, Virginia cedarwood, cistus absolute and Amberever give the fragrance a smoky, ambery trail with stronger lasting intensity.
The bottle keeps the architectural shape of the original VIVO flacon, reworked here in a blue gradient with an anthracite-toned upper section to reflect the fragrance’s fresher yet darker character. A coded ring around the bottle references the house’s 1881 signature, with the cap rotating until the vertical V1881 sequence aligns to unlock the spray.
Created by principal perfumer Frank Voelkl with Grégoire Balleydier of dsm-firmenich, VIVO Elixir launches in 100ml and 60ml Eau de Parfum formats, priced. The new launch gives Cerruti 1881 a clearer intensity play within the VIVO line, combining oud, suede and saffron with a more contemporary fougère structure aimed at younger male fragrance shoppers.
