Benefit Cosmetics has introduced The POREfessional Degunker, a targeted blackhead and pore cleansing system designed to loosen pore build-up and visibly minimise blackheads with an at-home, tool-assisted format. The system pairs an alkaline pH cleansing formula with a built-in extracting tool to lift debris and clear the look of congested pores for immediate, visible results.

The formula is built around mineral-rich kaolin clay to purify and help unclog pores, alongside plum seed oil for softness. Beta-glucan (from oats) supports hydration and smoothness, while bisabolol helps skin feel more comfortable during use.

In a self-evaluation of 115 participants after one use, 96% said it easily extracts pore-clogging debris, 91% said it minimises the appearance of blackheads, and 96% said skin looks clearer and smoother.

Apply to targeted areas on a clean, damp face, leave for 15 to 30 minutes, then rinse. Reattach the extracting tool and gently glide across skin, then rinse skin and tool. A longer 30-minute leave-on time is recommended for more stubborn build-up.
