Subtle Energies Appoints Victoria Dello-Ioio as Regional Director EMEA
Subtle Energies has appointed Victoria Dello-Ioio as regional director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, in a move that signals a wider commercial push for the Australian aromatherapy and Ayurvedic brand.
Dello-Ioio joins from Sothys, where she most recently held the role of UK country manager and was credited with driving the French skincare group's expansion into the UK hospitality sector. Earlier in her career she worked as a therapist at Ragdale Hall and has since held roles with Kanebo, Hyatt Regency, Shiseido and Natura Bissé across nearly three decades in international spa and wellness.
In her new role she will lead commercial and strategic growth for Subtle Energies across luxury spa markets in the EMEA region, working alongside the brand's founding team.
Dello-Ioio said the role drew on the parts of the industry she had spent her career working in. "The role sits at the intersection of brand and business, which is exactly where I thrive. It combines the relationship-driven work I love with the opportunity to represent a brand whose depth of philosophy and clinical rigour genuinely sets it apart in the luxury segment," she said.
"At our core we remain a family business with all the drive that comes with that. When we bring someone into Subtle Energies, they become an extension of our family and the values we have built this brand on over 30 years. Victoria's reputation and the quality of the relationships she has cultivated made her the natural choice for this role," added Subtle Energies.
Subtle Energies was founded in Sydney in 1993 by Farida Irani as a natural therapies clinic, and has since developed into a global skincare and treatment brand. The company is still family-run, with co-founder and chief executive Nick Irani leading the broader business alongside other family members in research, training and operations. The clinic Irani started in 1993 still operates today.
The brand has built its reputation on the luxury hospitality circuit, with partnerships including Six Senses, The Peninsula Hotels, Mandarin Oriental and selected Four Seasons properties. Recent activity has included the launch of treatments at The Peninsula Istanbul and a return to Mandarin Oriental Jumeira in Dubai.
Dello-Ioio's appointment lands as Subtle Energies enters what the brand describes as a new phase of commercial and educational evolution. It has developed a tiered menu pathway supported by a new online training platform for therapist development, and has been integrating its skincare protocols with performance technology including LED, radiofrequency, galvanic and microcurrent. For properties that have not invested in machinery, the brand recently launched its Advanced Lifting and Contour treatments, which are designed to deliver comparable results through manual technique.
