Baldan Group Partners with KX Spa to Bring T-SHAPE2 to Chelsea

Baldan Group has formalised a partnership with London wellness operator KX that brings its T-SHAPE2 body contouring device to KX Spa, the treatment facility inside the KX private members' club at 151 Draycott Avenue, Chelsea.

The two companies marked the partnership at a launch event earlier this month. Courses of six sessions are priced at £2,000 for members and £2,200 for guests. The tie-up places Baldan, which has more than 45 years in non-invasive aesthetic medicine and a presence in over 25 countries, inside one of London's better-known members' wellness brands. For KX, it extends a treatment menu that already sits at the premium end of the London market.

T-SHAPE2 combines five technologies in a single system: multipolar radiofrequency, low level laser therapy, mesoporation, dynamic vacuum and a mesosphere handpiece using 45 silicone spheres for mechanical stimulation. Baldan markets it for skin laxity, localised fat reduction, cellulite and silhouette contouring, supported by clinical studies run with Complife Italia and Biobasic Europe in collaboration with the University of Pavia. The device is FDA cleared under K231092 for cellulite reduction, improvement of circulation, and relief of minor muscle aches and spasms.

Published study data from Baldan reports an eight per cent reduction in adipose tissue, a 14 per cent increase in muscle thickness and a 30 per cent improvement in skin firmness after a course of ten sessions.

Brando Baldan, president of Baldan Group commented on the partnership: "Partnering with KX is a genuine milestone for Baldan. T-SHAPE2 has rapidly become one of the most sought-after devices in the global market, and for good reason: it addresses one of the most pressing clinical conversations happening right now, helping patients manage skin laxity, body contouring, and cellulite concerns that increasingly accompany GLP-1 therapies," he said. "KX represents exactly the kind of partner we seek out, a brand that holds itself to benchmark standards of quality and innovation."

Abbey Mirsamadi, group spa director at KX London, added: “We're always deliberate about the partners we choose at KX and KXU, so bringing Baldan and T-SHAPE2 into our ecosystem is a very considered step for us. What stood out immediately is how relevant the technology is to the conversations we're having every day with our clients, particularly around skin laxity, body contouring and the changing needs we're seeing.

T-SHAPE2 delivers on both a clinical and experiential level, which is essential for our audience. This partnership is about more than introducing a device, it's about elevating what we can offer our clients and continuing to lead from the front in innovation within the wellness and aesthetics space."

The partnership lands at a point when London clinics and spas are steadily adding device-based body contouring to their menus, in part to service the post-GLP-1 patient cohort now presenting with laxity and volume loss. For Baldan, which is now run by second-generation leadership under Brando Baldan and sister Amanda Baldan as chief executive, KX provides a high-profile London shop window alongside its broader professional and medical distribution.
