Versace Crystal Emerald

Versace has introduced Crystal Emerald, the newest chapter in the house’s Crystal story and a fragrance built around the idea of green light, feminine power and unapologetic presence. The scent is described as radiant and magnetic, drawing on the boldness of an emerald cut stone and the brand’s signature high gloss glamour. Model Lila Moss fronts the campaign, photographed by Mert Alas and styled in flowing emerald silk to mirror the bottle and the Medusa mythology that runs through the house.

The fragrance opens with sunlit brightness. Calabrian bergamot brings zesty lift, smoothed by velvety peach essence that feels juicy and just picked. A twist of pink peppercorn adds polish and a little sparkle so the top feels sophisticated rather than fruity-sweet. The heart is where the green facet shows. A green rosebud accord blooms fresh and young, wrapped in spiced, dewy tones that evoke a morning garden. Jasmine absolute from India adds softness and texture, while a raspberry sorbet note drops in colour and playfulness for a modern, addictive edge.

As it settles, Crystal Emerald moves into an enveloping, long lasting trail. White musks create that clean, luminous aura. Brazilian tonka bean gives warmth and sensuality. A hint of incense oil from Somalia adds depth and a signature touch that keeps the fragrance from feeling too pretty or too linear. The result is a floral musk that is wearable from day to night, with enough character to hold its own in an evening setting. Perfumer Gaël Montero signs the composition.

The bottle is pure Versace theatre. Cut like an emerald, in transparent glass tinted an intense green, it catches and reflects light through geometric facets and is topped with an oversized sculpted cap that echoes a gemstone. It looks made to sit on a dressing table beside gold jewellery and glossy leather.

Crystal Emerald arrives as Eau de Parfum and is available now at Boots, Superdrug, The Fragrance Shop, The Perfume Shop, John Lewis, Fenwick, Harvey Nichols and Harrods in the UK.
