Pantene has expanded its care offer for dry hair with the launch of Pro-V Moisture Recharge Heat & Glow Leave-In Cream, the hero product in its new Moisture Recharge collection. Built around the idea of turning heat from a source of damage into part of the care ritual, the leave-in cream is designed for dry hair types that need hydration, frizz control and shine without the weight of a heavier finishing product.
At the centre of the launch is Pantene’s heat-activated Pro-V formula, which releases additional moisturising nutrients when exposed to heat. The product deeply recharges each strand with moisture, then helps seal that hydration in, leaving hair softer, smoother and more luminous through the day.
From a formulation and claims perspective, Heat & Glow Leave-In Cream leans into thermal science. The formula undergoes a structural transformation when activated by heat, allowing micro-transforming agents to penetrate more easily into the hair’s cortex. That mechanism works through a three-part action, focused on injecting moisture into the inner layers of the hair for flexibility, sealing that moisture in while smoothing the cuticle, and helping prevent future dryness and frizz by restoring the outer layer.
That gives the launch a clear point of difference in a crowded leave-in market. Rather than asking consumers to avoid heat altogether, Pantene reframes blow-drying and heated styling as part of the moisturising process itself. The cream also protects against humidity, frizz and heat up to 230°C, giving it both care and styling relevance for shoppers looking to streamline their routine. Application is simple: two pumps on clean, towel-dried hair before blow-drying or any other heat styling, with one pump on dry hair between washes for frizz control or curl definition.
The new leave-in cream sits within the wider Moisture Recharge collection, developed to offer different levels of hydration depending on hair type and dryness level. Alongside the hero product, the line includes Moisture Recharge Shampoo for daily moisture, Weightless Conditioner for normal to dry hair, Intense Conditioner for very dry hair, and an Overnight Mask for extremely dry hair. Together, the range gives Pantene a more layered proposition in moisture care, with Heat & Glow acting as the most innovation-led SKU in the line-up.
