Amanda Du-Pont

Lelive was founded in 2021 by Amanda Du-Pont, with the name “leh-lee-veh” derived from her Swazi name, Langalelive, meaning “light of the world.”

Amanda's vision was to create skincare that above all, delivers results. For her, the effectiveness of a product took precedence above fads and trends that do not sustain placing emphasis on potency, results and dermatologist approved science. Inspired by the natural beauty of Africa, she sought to blend her heritage with modern science, honouring the power of nature. Surrounded by the diverse botanicals of her homeland, she recognised the healing potential of ingredients like marula, baobab, and mongongo - plants long revered in traditional healing.

Lelive is the result of Amanda’s collaboration with the community, gathering feedback from focus groups and customers to ensure every aspect - packaging, formulation, and performance was thoughtfully crafted. The brand empowers individuals to embrace their skin with confidence, offering effective, conscious skincare rooted in both nature and science.

As an actress, entrepreneur, model, television host, and Greenpeace ambassador, Amanda’s commitment to sustainability and her diverse heritage have shaped Lelive into more than just a skincare brand. It is a celebration of Africa’s beauty combined with science driven formulations, that honour the continent’s healing botanicals while delivering real, lasting results. At its heart, Lelive is a fusion of nature, science, and self-care, empowering people to find their glow and embrace their unique beauty.
