Floral Street Enchanted Masquerade Perfume Mist
Floral Street has added the Enchanted Masquerade Perfume Mist to its line-up. Enchanted Masquerade (which launched back in February) is a floral gourmand created in partnership with Netflix for Bridgerton. Opening notes of fresh pear, hazelnut and gardenia give way to honeyed Centifolia rose at the heart, before settling into skin musks and sweet cedarwood. The perfume mist format is enriched with revitalising rose floral water and is designed to be worn alone or layered over the matching Eau de Parfum.
The launch extends a mist format that Floral Street introduced alongside its core fragrance line. Each perfume mist features Actiscents, active ingredients that add both fragrant and cosmetic benefits, with upcycled rose water providing light moisturisation and antioxidant properties, sourced as a by-product from the production of rose essential oil.
Floral Street was founded in 2017 by Michelle Feeney, whose career in beauty spans some of the industry's most significant brand-building moments. She worked in PR under Lynne Franks in the 1980s before moving to New York, where she was headhunted by Estée Lauder Companies. In 1994 she led the launch of Crème de la Mer, transforming it into a global cult product, before being promoted to Vice President of Global Communications at MAC Cosmetics. Returning to the UK in 2003, she took the role of CEO at St Tropez, turning it into a multi-million pound business before its acquisition by PZ Cussons in 2010.
Floral Street takes its name from a street sign Feeney noticed while walking through Covent Garden. The brand introduced the first-ever pulp box for fine fragrance, developed in partnership with a 180-year-old paper mill in the Lake District, using recyclable fibres and approximately one upcycled coffee cup per box.
