Vaseline partners with luxury resort wear brand Oceanus

Vaseline has partnered with luxury resortwear label Oceanus to launch Out of Office Skin, a limited-edition summer collection bringing together bodycare and fashion around the idea of smooth, luminous “Silk Skin”. The collaboration pairs Vaseline Gluta-Hya Smoothing Perfector Serum Burst Lotion with a specially curated Oceanus capsule of 10 summer pieces, spanning dresses, jewellery and a co-ord designed to complement bare, glowing skin. Inspired by the confident glamour of 1980s eveningwear and summers spent by the sea, the collection incorporates ocean blues, intricate hand embroidery and eco-conscious materials across a series of statement holiday pieces. Every piece purchased from the Oceanus Out of Office Skin collection will also come with a complimentary Vaseline Gluta-Hya Smoothing Perfector Serum Burst Lotion while stocks last.

Founded by Hannah Attalah, Oceanus has built its identity around highly embellished swim and resortwear influenced by vintage glamour. Attalah launched the London-based label after identifying an opportunity for more fashion-led swimwear, incorporating statement hand-beading alongside materials including fabrics made from regenerated fishing nets. The brand has subsequently been stocked by retailers including Harrods, Browns, Revolve and Farfetch. Attalah describes the Oceanus aesthetic as “authentic, maximalist and unapologetic”, with vintage pieces from the 1970s and 1980s providing an ongoing source of inspiration for its collections. That aesthetic carries into Out of Office Skin, where the skin itself becomes part of the styling.

Hannah Attalah, Founder and Creative Director of Oceanus, said:

“Oceanus dresses are made for memory-making moments, and the ultimate finishing touch is Silk Skin, which makes partnering with Vaseline Gluta-Hya Smoothing Perfector Serum Burst Lotion a match made in heaven. Every dress is designed to capture that euphoric summer feeling, and nothing pairs better with that than bare, glowing skin.”

Central to the partnership is Vaseline Gluta-Hya Smoothing Perfector Serum Burst Lotion, a lightweight body formula developed to bring familiar facial skincare ingredients into everyday bodycare. The lotion uses a distinctive serum-burst texture that transforms into water droplets when massaged into the skin and absorbs in approximately five seconds, providing lightweight hydration without a sticky finish. Its formula combines AHA, BHA and PHA exfoliating acids to refine the appearance of skin texture, alongside Vaseline’s proprietary GlutaGlow technology and 4D Hyaluronic Acid for hydration. The ingredient list includes niacinamide, glycerin, lactic acid, salicylic acid, gluconolactone, glycolic acid, sodium hyaluronate, glutathione and petrolatum. The smoothing formula has been developed to visibly improve texture within seven days, with radiance improving by 55% after 14 days. Up to 100% of users reported smoother skin after seven days. Vaseline’s Gluta-Hya platform centres on its GlutaGlow antioxidant technology and a fast-absorbing “burst” format that releases water droplets as the formula is applied.

The campaign positions body moisturisation as the final stage of getting dressed for summer – particularly as shorter hemlines, swimwear and resortwear place more emphasis on visible skin.

Chiara Posca, Vaseline UK Brand Lead, said:

“Out of Office Skin is about trading deadlines for golden hour and pairing your softest, silkiest skin with the wardrobe that makes summer feel effortless. Gluta-Hya Smoothing Perfector Serum Burst Lotion delivers visibly smoother, more radiant skin with a lightweight formula that absorbs in just five seconds, leaving nothing behind but a healthy, luminous glow. Partnering with Oceanus brings that feeling to life, combining beautifully crafted holiday fashion with skincare that helps you look and feel your most confident all summer long.”

The partnership arrives amid a broader premiumisation of bodycare, with consumers increasingly applying facial skincare behaviours – from active ingredients and exfoliating acids to serums and targeted treatment routines – below the neck. Vaseline’s Smoothing Perfector reflects that shift by combining exfoliating acids, humectants and antioxidants within a body lotion format rather than relying solely on traditional occlusive moisturisation.
