Kaia Gerber becomes first Creative Partner in Residence at body care brand Uni
Uni, the ocean-powered body care brand founded by Alexandra Keating, has named model and actress Kaia Gerber as its first Creative Partner in Residence, fronting a new campaign for its 24-Hour Body Serum.
Gerber takes on a long-term creative role rather than a standard ambassadorship, working with the brand across content, product innovation, marketing and broader creative direction. The campaign also features Uni's Plush Marine Shower Oil and Microalgae Body Oil, and is shot by photographer Theo Wenner.
The brand says the tie-up came about organically. Gerber received the products as a gift, liked them enough to contact Keating directly, and that exchange grew into a formal partnership.
"What resonates with me about Uni is that it's built around the idea that body care shouldn't be an afterthought," said Gerber. "That philosophy already matched how I live, which made the partnership feel genuine from the start. I've always taken care of my body with the same intention as my face, and Uni makes that feel really effortless. What I love about the 24-Hour Body Serum and the Golden Microalgae Body Oil is that they are incredibly moisturizing, but absorb so quickly. They don't feel sticky, and don't transfer onto your clothes or onto other people, unless they want it to."
Keating framed the partnership around shared philosophy rather than reach. "Kaia approaches her body with real intention, in the gym, and in how she cares for her skin afterward," she said. "She genuinely believes that body care deserves the same thought and quality as skincare, which is precisely what Uni was built on. We are skincare for your body, and Kaia lives that philosophy every day. Partnering with Kaia felt effortless from the moment she reached out. She wasn't introduced to Uni through a deal. She found us, fell in love with the products, and came to us. That kind of authenticity is everything."
The campaign supports a substantial retail expansion in the United States, where Uni arrives at every Ulta Beauty store nationwide from 12 July, more than 1,600 doors, backed by out-of-home, digital and influencer activity. Gerber's campaign imagery launches on 18 June across the brand's social channels and wider digital, retail and advertising platforms.
