Breakout Beauty UK Accelerator Launches to Fast-Track Britain’s Next Global Beauty Brands

Growth Studio is proud to announce Breakout Beauty UK, a transformative accelerator programme designed to glow-up the next generation of high potential UK beauty founders, ready to become global household names.

The programme has attracted headline partnerships from Boots, TikTok Shop and the support of the British Beauty Council and early stage venture capital firm Venrex

Multi-millionaire beauty entrepreneur Trinny Woodall and TikTok beauty sensation, Mitchell Halliday (Made by Mitchell) are both backing the programme, sharing their personal experiences in building successful British beauty brands:

"The beauty industry is thriving; in fact, it's growing four times faster than the wider economy. That's why I am so excited to be involved in finding the freshest brands that are driving this growth and the future of the industry. Over the last nearly ten years, I have built Trinny London and understand the determination it takes to build a successful brand and I can't wait to share my insights with the Breakout Beauty founders." says Trinny Woodall.

"UK beauty founders are serving creativity like no one else – the ideas, the passion, the edge? Unreal.” says Mitchell Halliday. He continues: “But let’s be real, talent needs backing to blow up properly. That’s why I’m thrilled to be an Ambassador for Breakout Beauty UK. We’re hunting for the next big name – the ones with vision, fire, and the guts to go all the way. If that’s you, let’s make it happen."

Over 6 weeks, 10 finalist founders will access top-tier mentorship, investment guidance and opportunities, retail partnerships, expert clinics and award-winning business development support, curated and delivered by Growth Studio. Beauty entrepreneurs ready to share their expertise include Marina Kalenchyts, co-founder of Wonderskin, Michael Douglas, Founder of MD London and Jamie Genevieve, Founder of Vieve.

Breakout Beauty UK opens for applications on 11 August and runs from 27 October until 3 December. Beauty participants can apply from a wide range of categories including make up, hair, skin, nails and fragrance and sustainable beauty brands are actively encouraged.

A final pitch day will see two finalists awarded the Breakout Beauty UK Grand Prize, worth in excess of £350,000 combined.

Winners will benefit from a twelve-month listing in 10 of Boots biggest stores and on boots.com. Plus, access to its beauty business experts, free event space at the new Boots Beauty store at Battersea Power Station, as well as PR and marketing support.

In addition, TikTok Shop will provide mentorship, discounted platform fees, advertising and LIVE shopping training, subsidised marketing investment, promotional features across TikTok Shop and access to creator matchmaking and fulfilment support.

The programme will be seeking market ready beauty businesses with a minimum annual turnover of £150,000. A selection panel of industry experts and leading  beauty entrepreneurs will actively encourage a wide diversity of participants.

As Paul Finch, Growth Studio co-founder and programme architect explains, the UK is buoyant with current and unrealised beauty talent.

“With a growing market value of £30bn, the beauty business is one of the most dynamic sectors in the UK, yet so many incredible founders face barriers to entry and scale. Breakout Beauty UK is about unlocking that potential, giving beauty entrepreneurs the tools, network, and capital they need to succeed.”
