The Skin Diary Age Defence Moisturising Day Cream

The Skin Diary has introduced Age Defence Moisturising Day Cream, a new daily treatment that takes a clinical approach to skin ageing. Created by consultant dermatologists, the formula targets molecular ageing at its root, offering high-level protection against UV damage, inflammation and collagen degradation, without compromising on texture or comfort.

At the heart of the cream is the brand’s Phytoshield DNA Repair complex, which combines encapsulated SPF 50, antioxidants and DNA repair enzymes. These components work together to reduce cellular senescence, prevent inflammation and maintain the structural integrity of the skin. Unlike many traditional sunscreens, the encapsulated filters form a smooth, even layer on the skin that wears comfortably under makeup and is suitable for sensitive complexions.

Age Defence significantly protects against UV-induced gene expression changes in three key areas of ageing: cell stress, inflammation and collagen breakdown. The formula also includes plant-derived flavonoids for added antioxidant support and long-term radiance.

Founded in 2023 by Dr Clare Kiely, Professor Chris Griffiths, Dr Tamara Griffiths and Dr Richard Barlow, The Skin Diary is built on dermatological expertise and molecular science.

Age Defence Moisturising Day Cream is now available at theskin-diary.com.
