London-based luxury perfumery Ormonde Jayne proudly introduces Vetiveria, the latest scent in the Four Corners of the Earth collection. This creation stems from founder Linda Pilkington’s ongoing journey of discovery and her passion for rare, inspiring ingredients.
“After two new oil samples were brought to my attention—Timur pepper and sage—it marked the beginning of creating Vetiveria, a perfume centred around these two exceptional oils, which I love so much, I smell them daily,” says Pilkington.
Vetiveria, a new scent
An ode to the magnificent vetiver plant, Vetiveria is a vibrant celebration of nature’s most elegant grass. Rooted in the essence of the earth, the fragrance opens with a deluge of boisterous Sicilian lime, invigorated by the lively and aromatic Timur pepper, and elevated with sage and juniper berry.
The heart reveals a striking blend of snowbell and lavender, adding softness and contrast to this bold composition. The base brings depth, where vetiver intertwines with verdant moss, resinous rockrose, and the creamy warmth of tonka bean.
