Mario Badescu has launched the Advanced Peptide PDRN Jelly Cream in the UK, bringing vegan PDRN technology to the brand's accessible price point for the first time.

The lightweight jelly-cream texture melts into the skin without leaving any tacky residue and is formulated for both morning and evening use, layering easily within an existing routine. The formula combines four key actives: plant-based PDRN to support skin repair, renewal and soothing while improving elasticity; Matrixyl 3000 peptides to encourage collagen production and soften the appearance of fine lines; 5% niacinamide to even skin tone, minimise pores and strengthen the skin barrier; and sodium hyaluronate for deep, lasting hydration. Vitamin B12 is included to boost radiance and revive dull skin. The formula is vegan and fragrance-free, applied by smoothing an even layer over the face, neck and décolletage until fully absorbed.

Mario Badescu was founded in 1967 by Romanian-born chemist and aesthetician Mario Badescu, who converted a two-room Manhattan apartment on East 52nd Street into a one-room studio offering European-style facials by appointment only, operating solely on word of mouth. Not satisfied with the skincare formulas available at the time, he began creating his own botanically based skincare line built on the principle that products should be simple, gentle and effective. After Badescu's death in 1983, the Cabasso family acquired the brand and continues to run it today, maintaining the original East 52nd Street location. The brand is now sold globally and remains known for its accessible pricing, cult facial sprays and targeted spot treatments.
