Molton Brown’s Artists of Note returns with Karimah Hassan

Molton Brown has unveiled the latest chapter of its Artists of Note campaign, commissioning London-based multi-disciplinary artist Karimah Hassan to reinterpret Mesmerising Oudh Accord & Gold through painting and poetry, alongside a limited-edition Eau de Parfum bottle. The brand says the initiative invites boundary-pushing creatives to translate its fragrances into original artworks, broadening how consumers engage with scent.

Hassan’s contribution comprises a diptych and a poem titled The Golden Bridge, works that draw on her Welsh, Yemeni and Bangladeshi heritage and on her practice of “painting out loud,” which blends identity, community and memory. The collaboration follows previous cultural projects with institutions such as the Barbican and brands including Burberry and Selfridges.

To mark the campaign, Molton Brown has issued a new presentation for Mesmerising Oudh Accord & Gold Eau de Parfum: a metallic gold ombré bottle with the house’s gold-specked resin cap.

The brand positions Artists of Note as an ongoing series that connects fragrance storytelling with contemporary art, using collaborators to interpret notes such as bergamot, oudh accord and amber in visual and written form.
