Can You Really Resurrect Your Skin in 60 Minutes?

I recently experienced the 60-minute Katherine Daniels Skin Resurrection Treatment at Iris Avenue, and it was one of the most relaxing and hydrating  facials I’ve had in a long time.

From the moment the treatment began, the experience felt calm, intentional and deeply personalised. Katherine Daniels founder Donna Tait, who carried out the treatment, has a wonderfully uplifting and intuitive touch that immediately set me at ease, and every stage of the treatment felt carefully considered and meaningful.

The facial started with a gentle eye make-up removal using the Katherine Daniels Essential Micellar Face & Eye Make-up Remover, followed by a thorough double cleanse with the Essential Cleansing Milk. Donna incorporated the brand’s Deep Cleansing and Skin Rejuvenating Systems during the second cleanse, leaving my skin feeling exceptionally clean and refreshed, with no tightness or irritation. Warm microcloths were used throughout the treatment, adding a comforting element from start to finish.

Exfoliation was performed with the Essential Exfoliating Gel, which smoothed and softened the skin beautifully while remaining gentle and nourishing. After this, Donna applied a bespoke combination of products, including Hyaluronic Acid, Concentrate for Dry Skin, the Skin Perfector Massage Treatment and a touch of Nurturing Night Balm to create an incredibly rich massage medium designed for my skin.

The massage itself was a standout of the experience. Donna worked across the face, neck and décolleté using slow, sculpting movements which were both deeply relaxing and effective. The treatment then moved into an intensive masking stage using the Repairing Nourishing Mask alongside the Anti Fatigue Eye Mask, which instantly soothed and replenished the skin.

While the masks were working, Donna continued with massage techniques on the shoulders, back, and décolleté, followed by the cranial relaxation sequence, which was extremely soothing and made the entire treatment feel holistic rather than skin-focused.

The final stages included Katherine Daniels Global Eye & Lip Care, Plumping Lip Balm, Treatment Cream and Daily DNA Defence SPF30 to protect and finish the skin. By the end of the facial, my complexion looked noticeably smoother, brighter and more hydrated, with a healthy shine that lasted for days afterwards. My skin felt plumper, stronger and genuinely revitalised rather than overly treated.
