Chantecaille Blanc Peony Overnight Mask
Chantecaille has expanded its Blanc Peony range with the launch of the Blanc Peony Overnight Mask, a leave-on gel-cream treatment targeting dark spots, uneven skin tone and fine lines while the skin undergoes its natural overnight recovery.
The mask is built around the brand's Multi-Brightening Botanical Complex, combining Thiamidol and white peony to target the appearance of dark spots and improve overall skin tone, while botanical peptides work on texture and fine lines. The formula is also enriched with ectoin, upcycled tea tree oil, niacinamide and lavandin extract to hydrate, soothe and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Clinical testing showed a 74% reduction in the appearance of dark spots after 12 weeks of nightly use. Applied as the final step of an evening routine, it sits within a full Blanc Peony system that also includes a face serum, face cream and eye serum.
Chantecaille was founded in 1997 by Sylvie Chantecaille and has been part of the Beiersdorf group since 2022. It launched initially as a niche fragrance house before Sylvie's background in high-quality skincare, Chinese medicine and aromatherapy led the brand into beauty. Before Chantecaille, Sylvie co-founded a cosmetics company with Diane von Furstenberg, and was later tapped by the Lauder family to create Prescriptives in 1979. The brand remains a family business, with daughter Olivia serving as creative director, daughter Alex as vice president of sales, son Philippe as director of media production and husband Olivier as CFO.
All Chantecaille formulations are free from phthalates, sulfates, mineral oil, petrolatum, palm oil and GMOs, with no synthetic colours or fragrances. The brand also donates a portion of proceeds from seasonal collections to wildlife and environmental conservation organisations.
The Blanc Peony Overnight Mask is available now at chantecaille.co.uk.
Armani Beauty is introducing a playful new chapter to its colour portfolio with Armani Dolci Makeup Blush, the first release from the brand’s new Dolci Makeup collection. Ahead of its nationwide launch, shade 5 Mauve Blush appeared on Rebecca Donaldson at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival. Makeup artist Kelly McClain used the rich mauve shade to create a softly flushed finish that complemented Donaldson’s red carpet look.
