Cetaphil AM and PM Serum

Cetaphil has added two new serums to its line-up, the AM Advanced Defence Serum and PM Repair & Renew Serum, a day-and-night antioxidant system developed specifically for sensitive skin.

While antioxidant serums have become a staple of modern skincare, most have been developed without sensitive skin in mind, prioritising potency over compatibility. Galderma research indicates that 78% of people report skin sensitivity, and that sensitive skin experiences 16% higher oxidative stress than non-sensitive skin under typical environmental conditions.

Both serums are built around Gallic-AOX Power Technology, a patent-pending complex combining gallic acid and vitamin E. In global laboratory testing, gallic acid demonstrated more than twice the antioxidant efficacy of vitamin C, while remaining tolerable for sensitive skin.

The AM Advanced Defence Serum is formulated with niacinamide and triple hyaluronic acid to defend against pollution, blue light and environmental stress during the day, while supporting the skin barrier and improving the appearance of radiance, pores and fine lines. The PM Repair & Renew Serum works overnight, combining hyaluronic acid, pro-vitamin B5, cica and bifida ferment to accelerate barrier repair and deliver visibly plumper, more even-looking skin. Clinical results show visible improvement in as little as seven days, with consistent use making skin up to seven times stronger against daily stressors.

Both formulas are fragrance-free, hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic, co-developed with dermatologists and clinically tested on sensitive skin and suitable for use following aesthetic procedures such as microneedling and intense pulsed light treatment.
