AllSaints Expands Fragrance Line

ALLSAINTS has extended its eau de parfum collection with two unisex fragrances, Sacred Sands and Naked Woods, both created with perfumer Gabriela Chelariu of dsm-firmenich, who has worked on the brand's fragrance range throughout. They join existing scents in the line including Sunset Riot Intense, Shoreditch Leather and Ravaged Rose.

Sacred Sands is an amber vanilla mineral fragrance that sets sweet against saline. It opens on Italian bergamot, coastal cypress and a caviar accord, moves through a heart of iris, solar blooms and balsam Peru, and dries down to mineral vanilla, patchouli, incense milk and Sylvamber. Chelariu says the composition was inspired by the English coastline, pairing cool sea air with the warmth of vanilla.

Naked Woods is a woody amber built around a lighter, more transparent take on woody notes. It opens with a tart snap of rhubarb, bergamot and apple leaves, softens through geranium, orris and pink pepper, and settles into clearwood, amber woods and skin musk. The clearwood note is a biotech patchouli-derived material that Chelariu describes as a cleaner, less earthy version of the ingredient.

Both fragrances are housed in the brand's signature bottle, with its hexagonal bolt-shaped cap and leather sleeve.

Chelariu is principal perfumer at dsm-firmenich, which she joined in 2014. She trained as a pharmacist in Romania before moving into fragrance, and has composed the ALLSAINTS scent range.

The ALLSAINTS fragrance collection is distributed and managed in the UK by Glorious Brands, and was developed in partnership with Scent Beauty.
