AlumierMD partners with Dr Tom Kamal as UK Key Opinion Leader

AlumierMD has announced a new partnership with leading aesthetic doctor and educator Dr Tom Kamal, who will work closely with the professional skincare brand to champion the role of medical-grade skincare within aesthetic treatment protocols.

As part of the advocacy role, Dr Tom will spearhead the UK launch of two new AlumierMD products in October with further details on the products and launch programme to be announced shortly.

Dr Tom is a long-standing advocate of AlumierMD, with the brand’s products embedded in his treatment protocols at The Dr Tom Clinic. He combines medical-grade skincare with aesthetic treatments to support patients’ skin health throughout their treatment pathways.  This reflects a broader shift in medical aesthetics towards more comprehensive patient care, recognising that healthy skin is fundamental to achieving and maintaining optimal outcomes before, during and after aesthetic procedures.

“AlumierMD has become a really important part of how we approach treatment at the clinic,” says Dr Tom. “For me, aesthetic medicine isn’t simply about treating an individual concern. It’s about understanding the patient as a whole and creating a personalised pathway which incorporates their goals, their anatomy and, importantly, the health and quality of their skin.”

“Medical-grade skincare plays a significant role within that journey. I’m therefore delighted to be working with AlumierMD and to have the opportunity to support the launch of its new products later this year.”

Dr Tom’s clinical philosophy centres on detailed consultation and personalised treatment planning. His signature ‘Profile Balancing’ service begins with a full facial assessment, considering how the patient’s features work together rather than focusing on a single treatment area.  Treatment plans typically combine injectable treatments with medical-grade skincare to create natural-looking results while maintaining the patient’s individual appearance and ensuring their long term skin health.

Dr Tom Kamal graduated in Medicine from the University of Liverpool before spending five years working in hospital medicine, primarily across Adult Medicine specialties. He subsequently moved into General Practice, completing his postgraduate medical training in Wales, before establishing himself as one of the UK’s leading medical aesthetics practitioners.

As Founder and Medical Director of The Dr Tom Clinic, he has treated thousands of patients and is recognised for his evidence-based approach, commitment to patient safety and natural-looking results. He is also a prominent educator, regularly training healthcare professionals across the UK and speaking at national and international aesthetics conferences.

He is a finalist in multiple up and coming awards this Autumn, and his expertise has featured across national media including the BBC, Vogue, Men’s Health and the Daily Mail, where he is regularly called upon to provide expert commentary on medical aesthetics and patient safety.

The partnership will move into a key phase October, when Dr Tom will spearhead the launch of two new AlumierMD products.  The launches will form part of AlumierMD’s ongoing commitment to introducing innovation within professional skincare and its work with leading clinicians to bring new products and treatment approaches to the aesthetics sector.

Further details about the two new AlumierMD products and launch activity with Dr Tom will be announced shortly.
