Your Brows - But Better

The eye market (brows and lashes) was estimated at $14.52 billion in 2018, and in 2021 was the most profitable segment in cosmetics, with a sales revenue of nearly $2 billion. The brows have been a huge star in the beauty industry too since the likes of Cara Delevigne came in and showed us how to get those famous fluffy brows. Now a staple in our beauty routines, it’s time for a brow brand to enter the market which stands apart and offers more than a simple tint or shape - enter Brows by Sarah. Founded by celebrity brow artist Sarah Amelia Fogg, long gone are the days of the ‘tadpole’ brows which we all overplucked - Sarah’s trademark super natural, fluffy and subtle looking brows can now be recreated at home - something her reputable client list of many model & celebrity clients, including ITV’s Olivia Attwood, have been visiting her for, for years.

The Brows by Sarah brand offers brow maintenance products which are the only products on the market to contain anti-ageing benefits to firm and hydrate the skin as well as formulas which help to regrow the brows.

The product range is vegan, sustainable and cruelty free, and standing apart from the market, the products are clinically proven, naturally derived and scientifically engineered. The Wow Brow itself is revolutionary - not just brow enhancing, but a thickening serum with the choice of two pigments that instantly intensifies each individual hair for an immediate effect, whilst reactivating hair growth too. Fluff it Up also not only sculpts the brow, but treats the skin with a complex combination of plant extracts that improves skin elasticity & encourages collagen production. The product range goes above and beyond to ensure your brows are receiving long lasting results as well as an immediate pop of pigment and shape.

“I created these products with my clients in mind,” says Sarah, “I wanted them to have something that would keep their brows looking sculpted and fluffy in between brow appointments.”

ITV’s Olivia Attwood shared in a recent Instagram Story that she has been using this brow duo which she uses in between having ombré brow treatments with Sarah.

“My girl did not come to play when she made these brow products!!!” Olivia wrote.

Sarah says “Liv’s brows are some of my absolute favourites. When Liv first came to me, we started with microblading correction to get the shape to one that was the most flattering for her face shape. I really wanted Liv’s brows to highlight her face and microblading definitely helped achieve this. Once Liv was happy with her look, we then transitioned to a soft ombre technique.”

If you’re wondering what the ombré technique involves, Sarah explains everything you need to know.

“Liv’s brow appointments start with an ombré treatment. This advanced technique is less invasive than other techniques and is suitable for all skin types. The process involves using a hand-held editing machine to airbrush tiny pigments into the skin, almost like a powder effect. The word ombré comes from having pigment stronger at the tail and softer at the bulb, but this technique is versatile and results can be bespoke for each client if the ombré effect isn’t to your taste. It creates the most soft, natural looking brows that last for a long time,” she says.

“After the ombré treatment, Liv then has a brow lamination treatment which involves using a perming solution on your brows to set a shape. When you think of a perming solution you think of the hair coming out curly, but this is only because hair is set on rollers. Whatever position you put hair in, the solution will help it stay that way, so your artist will set the brow hair into fuller shape and should always follow hair growth. This creates a fuller looking, structured brow. “Brow lamination and the ombré technique work well together, as ombré is a treatment for implanting pigment into the skin and lamination is a treatment for the hairs, which is why Liv opts for both. Liv then uses Brows by Sarah Wow Brow and Fluff It Up as part of her daily makeup routine to fix and sculpt her brows instantly whilst also getting anti-ageing benefits to firm and hydrate the skin.”

Sarah’s signature ombré brow treatment requires a top-up a couple of months after your first appointment. After this, results can last 2 years or longer with help from the Brows by Sarah brow range to keep them looking healthy, full, and fluffy.
