Coworth Park, Dorchester Collection’s modern country house hotel located in the heart of Berkshire, has launched its reimagined spa. Designed to work in harmony with the surrounding countryside, The Spa at Coworth Park offers a slower, deeply intuitive wellness experience, for guests of the hotel, spa members, and visitors to enjoy.
Set within the 240-acres of countryside at Coworth Park, the spa with views over the wildflower meadow has been thoughtfully redesigned to reflect its natural setting. Light-filled spaces, soft textures and nature-inspired design create an atmosphere of calm and quiet elegance, while a renewed focus on holistic wellbeing ensures each guest experience feels bespoke and restorative.
Responding to a growing desire for thermal rituals, the spa’s wet facilities now include a poolside thermal experience featuring a Finnish sauna, citrine-lined steam room and snow shower. The gym has been expanded and reimagined as a space for both energy and clarity, equipped with the UK’s first Technogym Luxury Artis line. A Technogym Checkup station supports personalised wellbeing through intelligent testing of strength, mobility, balance and more, offering a tailored foundation for every fitness journey.
Eight refreshed treatment rooms, named after Coworth Park’s diverse flora, offer a menu of bespoke treatments in partnership with ishga, Wildsmith and Made for Life Organics. A new 360-degree consultation process, combined with personalised soundscapes, ensures each treatment feels deeply attuned to the individual.
Following in the footsteps of Coworth Park’s sister hotels – The Dorchester and 45 Park Lane – The Spa offers a range of Natura Bissé treatments. As part of this new partnership, a pop-up treatment pod, the Natura Bissé Oxygen Bubble, in which guests can breathe 99.99% pure air, will be available for a limited time throughout the summer.
The new spa café features nourishing dishes created by Coworth Park’s executive chef Adam Smith, offering seasonal salads, vibrant bowls, fresh juices and herbal teas that can be enjoyed on the outdoor terrace overlooking the estate.
Complementing the spa’s offerings, Coworth Park invites guests to explore a range of nature-led wellness experiences across the estate, from guided woodland walks and seasonal foraging to open-air yoga and equestrian wellbeing sessions. For those seeking a more meditative escape, mindful meadow bathing and nature-based sound healing provide a deeper connection to the land.
One ingredient, two regulatory timetables and shelves full of near-identical bottles. The new TPO rules call for a forensic look at stock, suppliers and lamps, not a panicked exit from gel. On a salon shelf, the change is almost invisible. The same orderly rows of builder gels, bases, top coats and colour remain in place, their labels as polished as ever. Yet a single line in an ingredient list now determines whether a product may enter the Great Britain market, how long existing stock may be supplied and what a salon should replace next. The three letters causing the stir are TPO. Online, the story has already been compressed into the sort of headline that travels quickly and explains very little: gel has been banned; every bottle must be binned; TPO and HEMA are the same problem but none of those statements are accurate.
