Hailey Bieber is once again adding to our repertoire of food inspired beauty trends with a new perfectly Autumnal hair colour. ‘Cinnamon Cookie Butter’ hair is the term used by her colourist Matt Rez to describe Hailey’s shiny, multidimensional colour consisting of a cinnamon base with buttery, caramel highlights. Hailey’s new look consists of a dark base colour accompanied by warmer pieces.

A step away from the blonde world, the key in this look is minimal highlights and midlights, and sticking to your original colour (no more than two to three levels lighter than your base. Cookie butter hair features dark golds, light brows and a little bit of copper reflects to be waved or foiled into the hair.

Whilst Hailey has opted for a Cinnamon base colour, Jake Nugent, Hair Colour Expert and OSMO Ambassador shares his advice for how to make this warm autumnal trend work for all hair types.

“To get the look I’d recommend Caramel Highlights. Caramel highlights are a great way to add warmth and dimension to your hair without going too dark. This autumn trend is all about subtle, natural-looking highlights that add a touch of brightness to your hair. Whilst Hailey has opted for a more Cinnamon base, whether you're a natural brunette or blonde, caramel highlights can work for you.”

High shine is key for this – regular deep conditioning masks, shine sprays, and then recommending the new OSMO Colour Revive Latte conditioners for at-home top ups between salon appointments are a must. I’d recommend the new OSMO Colour Revive in shades Cafe Latte and Vanilla Latte. Café Latte is great for blondes wanting a warmer tone, whilst the Vanilla Latte is perfect for those who fancy an ashier tone. This is a great way to keep caramel highlights looking vibrant in between appointments.

I would also recommend the OSMO Blinding Shine Serum for added shine and naturally glossy results.

Perfect for the upcoming autumn season, the "cinnamon cookie butter" hair shade isn't suited for those who lean towards cool tones because of its warm undertones. To keep its luster and vibrancy, it's advised to see your colorist every six to eight weeks for a gloss treatment and to ensure regular maintenance at home.
